Sun Sets on Championship Sunday
The final buzzer has sounded, bringing with it the end of this year’s Capital Volunteer Cup. It was clear from the first puck drop this morning that these teams saved the best for last! Every contest was closely contested, and the finals were truly anyone’s to win. What a great weekend of hockey, where 66 teams from can come together and battle it out to be tournament champions.
Tournament hockey can be grueling; putting multiple wins together in such a short span of time can be a big challenge. With only three games to secure a playoff spot, some team rose to the challenge, while others came oh so close. In the end, only one team could lift the Championship Trophy.
